Donna Butler – Families Matter Programme Manager

Donna has been with the Forum since August 2009, and since then has been integral to successful planning, implementation and evaluation of programmes rolled out in Co. Donegal and the expansion of SFP in to Sligo/Leitrim. Donna manages the ongoing communication with all stakeholders and funders including any third parties associated with the programme and to promote effective working relationships between key stakeholders. Donna is responsible for ensuring that programmes adhere to SFP Polices & procedures. It is Donna’s role to strategically and operationally develop and manage the Families Matters Programme and manage overall programme budgets and monitoring costs

Ciara Breen – Project Officer

Ciara joined the Alcohol Forum in 2012 as Strengthening Families Programme (SFP) Project Officer.  In her role Ciara co-ordinates SFP in Donegal and is responsible for the operational management and organising of the programme. This includes overseeing referrals; managing, identifying and preparing resources for the programme, supporting the families attending the programme, providing leadership to a team of SFP facilitators and ensuring programmes are planned and implemented effectively. Ciara is also a trained Advocate within the Families Matter Advocacy Service. Ciara’s background is in family support & residential care where she provided support, education & assessment to children in care and their families.

Maureen Mc Glynn – Administrator

Maureen has worked as the Administrator with Families Matter since joining the Alcohol Forum in August 2009.   Maureen’s duties include maintaining the finance and budget records, Advisory Group meetings, contacts database, policies, and procedures, training as well the numerous duties involved in the weekly SFP delivery and supporting the Project Officer at programme.  Maureen is now also responsible for all the administrative duties in Families Matter including the Advocacy Service and administrative duties for the Programme Manager.   Maureen has over 25 years’ experience in Office Management.
